Hand-made paper 'washi' is made from plant fibers through many steps. It involves and embodied interaction with fibers, pulp, colors and different materials.  Washi means 'harmony'. Thus the process of creating paper and art fosters dialogue and story-telling with and within self, relationsips and nature.
